Clayton Kratz, from Calgary, was the talk of the off road community in 2003. His love for massive airtime gained Clayton many new fans. Clayton and his custom built Toyota truck was the center of attention at many events, and the opportunity to watch Clayton put on a wild show was the main reason a lot of people attended tough truck races.



The Donavon Miller built fully rollerized 377 small block Chevy runs a Predator carb and stock car headers while putting out an approximate 400-425 hp. That is coupled to a Rick's Racing Turbo 350 transmission and a NP2005 transfer case. With all the massive air that Clayton gets, he decided to go with a Dana 60 front differential and 14 Bolt GM rear differential, with disc brakes all around. As you can see in the pictures, sometimes a Dana 60 is simply not heavy duty enough! Clayton is Definatly running the largest tires in the Alberta tough truck circuit with 44" Super Swamper TSL's in the front and 44" Super Swamper Boggers in the rear. Custom "ClaytonBuilt" four-link suspension with King coilover shocks is connected to a custom "ClaytonBuilt" frame and exo rollcage.
